Successful organization of blood camp

Blood Donation || 07-29-2011

Phoenix Para Medical College Murran Road Pulwama Kmr. organized a blood donation camp on 29th July, 2009(Wednesday) in collaboration with Degree College Pulwama and with the assistance of District Hospital Pulwama.  The programme started at 12:00 AM at the Degree College Campus Pulwama and the inauguration of the donation camp was done by the Chief Guest, District Development Commissioner, Mr Ishtiyaq Ahmad Ashaie.  The District Development Commissioner also gave a good speech to the audience which was pre-followed by various Guests of Honours.  The students of Phoenix Para Medical College and Govt Degree College Pulwama participated in the donation of blood camp and thereby gave their blood for the welfare of the society, especially the helpless patients lying in various hospitals.  Two hundred students registered their names for the donation of blood camp but only fifty two points of blood have been collected from these donors because of lack of time.  The volunteers of Kashmir Social Workers Committee also participated in the camp.
At last the Chairman and MD of Phoenix Para Medical College Pulwama, Mr Gulzar Ahmad Rather, gave his note of thanks for the Principal of Govt Degree College Pulwama who produced her good hands forward for the fruitful results of the camp.  We are also thankful to the worthy District Development Commissioner who put out his precious time for the programme and encouraged the students for such noble works.  We are also thankful for the Professors of the college namely Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Dr Javid Ahmad Simnani and doctors of the district hospital namely Dr Khursheed Ahmad Mir, Dr Riyaz Ahmad, Mr Irshad Ahmad, Mr Parveez Ahmad, Mr Ab Rashid Najar, Mir Manzoor and others who assisted in the camp nicely and helped in making the programme very successful.
